In April 2009 we opened the fourteenth Day Care Health Centre in the remote village of Mugrebesi, in agreement with the Nepalese Government.
As usual, this was a cause for huge celebrations, with Steve McCall our Chief Executive, Douglas Maclagan our Operations Director, Devendra Gurung, Chief Project Coordinator from our partner CWSN, and a journalist from South China Post all joining in the fun!
Our partner CWSN will support the centre to provide early years education, a midday meal, and basic healthcare to 40 children aged 3-5, many of whom are from disadvantaged castes.
