About Us
Find out about the origins of CWS and our mission to help children build a brighter future...
On Saturday 27th September 2008, Fergus Anderson will set out on an incredible journey from Glasgow to Kathmandu by motorbike! Starting from George Square, Glasgow, he will ride his Triumph Motorcycle, named AshaBlue, aiming to get to Durbar Square in Kathmandu at the beginning of November.
Fergus is undertaking this huge challenge, which will lead him through Scotland, England, France, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India and finally Nepal, to raise funds for CWS and our local partner Child Welfare Scheme Nepal.
Originally from Glasgow, Fergus is combining his three passions of Scotland, motorcycling, and Nepal. He has lived and worked in Nepal on and off for the last 16 years. Firstly as a member of the Brigade of Gurkhas, then as a trek leader and a motorcycle guide.
