On December 6th 2008, Mark MacDonald will embark on an amazing journey, carrying 100 tibetan prayer flags overland from Mumbai to Pokhara, using trains, buses, taxis, rickshaws, and a very good pair of walking boots! Along the way he will visit the four most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage centres in the Indian subcontinent, and have the flags blessed by as many Monks, Lama's, Guru's and Yogi's as possible.
His journey ends at the World Peace Pagoda in Pokhara, where the flags will be hung on New Years Day 2009. 10 of these flags are being auctioned on e-bay for CWS, with sponsors being given the opportunity to write a personal message, and have their own flag flying in the winds of Nepal next year.
