CWS reach Big Give target!

We are delighted to announce that we raised our target of £30,000 through the Big Give in just 2 days! Thank you so much to everyone who helped us to reach this fantastic amount, which will be doubled to £60,000, enabling us to help twice as many disadvantaged children and young people in Nepal. We have been overwhelmed by your response to our appeal, which just shows what wonderful supporters we have - we couldn't have done this without you and we are extremely grateful!

We understand that some of our supporters wanted to donate through the Big Give and get your donation matched, but were not able to because we reached our target so quickly. We did ask to be allocated some more matched funding from the Reed Foundation, but unfortunately this was not possible this year. If we apply again next year, we will definitely ask for a larger amount so that as many of you as possible can have your donation matched. We would still welcome your donations this year without the matched funding - please click here to make a donation.

We have tried to thank everyone who donated personally, but unfortunately some of the donations came to us anonymously. If you un-checked the box which read ‘I would like to receive further information from this charity' we were not sent your name and address details - unfortunately we were not aware of this in advance. We would really like to thank our ‘anonymous' donors as well, so even if you do not want to receive updates from us in future, please send us a quick email telling us your name, the amount you donated, and whether you would like to receive further updates from us to gurvinder@cwsuk.org.
