CWS in Charity of the Year competition

The competition

CWS has been chosen to enter the Optimist World ‘Charity of the Year' competition, with the opportunity to win one of five cash prizes of up to £15,000, and much needed publicity for our projects in Nepal.  Optimist World is a website set up to spread the word about the many positive things that are happening around us every day, including the work of charities like CWS.  Please click here for more about Optimist World.

CWS will appear on the Optimist World website in the week beginning 21^st August 2009, along with four other charities, to compete for the ‘Charity of the Week' title.  Every week the charity with the most votes, and the most compelling comments written about them on the site, wins this title and is entered into the next stage of the competition for ‘Charity of the Year'.  So CWS needs your help! 

How can you help us win?

1. Vote for us

As we have a small number of dedicated supporters, we really do need each and every one of you to vote for us and make nice comments about us, to have a chance of winning Charity of the Week.  Voting for CWS will open on 21^st August and close on 28^th August, but you can register for voting now at the following link: http://optimistworld.com/RegistrationHome.aspx.  Then make a note in your diary to come back to the site in the week beginning 21^st August, and VOTE FOR US!  Each registered user/email address has one vote per week and comments for charities can be left at the bottom of each charity page.

2. Ask your friends to vote for us

Please also ask your friends to vote by emailing them, or posting a message on facebook or other social networking sites - this is a very quick way to spread the word about the competition.

If we all complete these 2 simple steps we stand a real chance of winning, so please take a few minutes of your time today, and help us to help disadvantaged children in Nepal.
