Other support
Although donations are essential to enable us to continue our projects, there are many other ways you can support us without spending a penny! These can be just as valuable, if not more so, than a financial contribution. We've made a few suggestions below, but if there are other ways you think you may be able to help then please do get in touch, as we love getting new ideas from our supporters!
Spread the word about CWS
Do you know anyone else who might be interested in supporting CWS? Word of mouth is the best way for us to spread the word about our projects, as not only does it cost next to nothing, friends of friends are also the most likely to continue supporting CWS for years to come. You could make a huge difference to the lives of children in Nepal, just by talking to people you know about us, including:
- Friends and family
- Your place of work
- Your school
- Your local club - for example sports clubs or rotary clubs
If you'd like to give a presentation for a group, please let us know so we can support you with materials and ideas.
Give us feedback
We have only become what we are today because of our supporters, and we hope that by working together we can continue to improve in future. We welcome feedback about any aspect of our work, as this will help us make positive changes to our work, which in turn will help make positive changes to the lives of children in Nepal.
Buy sports and outdoor clothing at Yew
Set up by one of our long standing supporters, Jun Wong, along with his partner Kresse Wesling, Yew Clothing is a sports and outdoor clothing company focused on producing high quality technical garments using only sustainable materials. Yew are now offering CWS supporters a 10% discount on their entire clothing range AND with every purchase you make, Yew will donate a further 10% directly to CWS to support our projects. To enjoy this fantastic discount and help children in Nepal, click here to go to the Yew Clothing website and use the discount code 'Nepal' when you order.
Book a holiday to Nepal
Come and stay at Furse-Khola - your very own eco friendly farmhouse! This is a unique opportunity to experience rural life in Nepal, without having to give up your creature comforts. Our founder, Douglas Maclagan runs the farm, together with his wife Insuba and their two children. The farm is non-profit making and $10 out of every $100 you spend at the farmhouse, will go towards CWS projects. For further information and bookings, please click here to go to the Furse Khola Farmhouse website.
